Bachelor of Commerce admission is allowing for commerce background students who chosen commerce subjects in senior secondary schooling time. Many top colleges cut off for BCom admission went very high, but there are lots of top BCom colleges are vacant some seats so students can apply for Bachelor of Commerce admission now.

Bachelor of Commerce or B.Com. : An under graduate degree, Bachelor of Commerce or B.Com is an under graduate degree course. A student become commerce graduate after completion of this course. This is three year duration course and students can take admission for full time as well as part time B.Com course in any university as many universities now provide distance learning to many students who are unable to join full time courses because of any reason.

A student should pass his 10+2 in commerce or science stream with at least forty five percentage of marks to get the admission in this course. Fees are differ from college to college, normally private colleges charge higher fees then a government organised colleges. At the time of admission, you need to submit admission form, mark sheet of 12th and 10th standard along with birth certificate. At the time of admission merit list announced by the colleges according to the marks obtained by the students in their intermediate.

Normally admission in this course is direct, means no entrance test but now a days some new private colleges make it compulsory to pass entrance test to judge the eligibility for the admission. Students has choice to pursue master degree courses such as MBA, M.Com etc. after completion of bachelor of commerce degree. A commerce graduate has option to choose career of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Accountant, Company Secretary(CS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or he can join job in the banks, financial institution etc.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree course students can choose subjects, such as banking and finance, business management, financial accounting & auditing, economics, foreign trade practice & procedure and actuarial science, they can select vocational subjects for example, auditing & cost accounting, insurance, law, company secretary practice etc.
